SIGNALMENT:
- Species: Canine
- Breed: Mixed Breed
- Age: 12 years
- Sex: MC
HISTORY:
Your the third veterinarian to see this dog. The complaint is a painful left eye. The owner has been medicating with various ointments and solutions (Triple antibiotic, Gentocin, Gentocin Durafilm®, Terramycin) without improvement over the past 6 weeks. In addition a temporary tarsorraphy has been performed and the eye examined for a foreign body. The owner states that if you cannot help the dog he will euthanize him. He has also spent $400.00 to date and is very unwilling to spend significantly more money.
